I love lighthouses and Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is my favorite. This love inspired me to draw this lighthouse in the moonlight, crafting a dark but welcoming scene. I drew this fine art print of a lighthouse in the moonlight with colored pencils and printed it on 100% cotton, acid-free paper made in the USA.
The North Carolina Outer Banks essentially comprise a giant sandbar along our coast. This means they are not fixed in place but constantly move and shift. As the home to 5 of NC’s 7 lighthouses, these barrier islands’ shifting sands can pose a danger to them. In fact, the 1999 relocation of Cape Hatteras Lighthouse 2,900 feet helps to preserve it from the eroding shoreline.

I adjust images to show the actual colors of the artwork . How your device screen is set can change how the image looks. For example, a bright laptop screen in a well-lit room can make the colors look more vivid. The colors will look less vivid on a dimly lit desktop monitor. Also, different monitor brands and models can show colors differently. They can differ from the original artwork. So, keep in mind that the image might look a bit different on your screen.
